Don’t worry, nothing bad happens to Midge-- the girl yells at the boy that she’s going to tell Dad and the boy retorts that HE’S going to tell Dad the girl was shoplifting. Ahh, families...
Hippie Midge tries to score money for her illegal abortion, while keeping it all from her parents. I received an Eisner (comics industry award) nomination for this three part story. There really is a lot in it... and it is a scathing window into the recent past. Peace and love, baby! Groovy “Uncle Bud” is a real louse....
